Monday 9 am - 12 pm: GRB handling from onboard algorithms to final catalog
Monday 1:30 pm - 5 pm: Strategies for source identification
Tuesday 9am - Friday 12pm : Collaboration meeting
Friday 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm : Handling of flaring and variable LAT sources.
Getting to Building 26
From the front gate, proceed straight until you reach the first stop sign, which is Explorer Road. Turn left on Explorer Road. You will follow this around past building 21 and the GSFC library until you reach a 4-way stop. Go straight and then take your first right into the parking lot for building 26. For directions to GSFC from your hotel, please see the accomodations section below.
Wireless Connectivity
Wireless access will be available during the meeting. We will provide each registrant with their own username and password to allow wireless access to the internet for the week.
Meeting Dinner
We are having the collaboration meeting dinner on Wednesday, March 28, at 7:30 pm in La Tasca. It will cost $40. It is at 722 7th Street NW. http://latascausa.com/location1.cfm. We strongly recommend that people get there by metro (the restaurant is opposite the Gallery place/Chinatown stop). People should catch a green line train from Greenbelt to Gallery place/Chinatown. Follow signs for the Chinatown exit (corner of 7th and H streets). Cross 7th street to get to the La Tasca (it will be a few doors down on the left).
Registration
The registration deadline is March 1st
We ask that anyone planning to attend, please take a minute to register online. If you are a foreign national, then you will be contacted and asked to fill out a separate form so that we can have badges ready for you when you arrive. The early registration deadline is to insure that all registrants for the meeting have badges. There will be a registration fee of $25/day. Cash and Checks ONLY. Checks made payable to USRA.
On a local note, the Cherry Blossom festival starts this same weekend and that March 31 is the kite festival.
