Multi-wavelength Observations of Fermi-LAT Monitored Blazars with SMARTS

Abstract:

Results will be presented from the first year of optical/IR monitoring of Fermi-LAT blazars by the Small and Moderate Aperture Research Telescope System (SMARTS). Daily photometric monitoring of those blazars visible from CTIO in optical and IR bands was performed throughout 2008-2009 with SMARTS. Broadband SEDs are constructed from optical/IR (SMARTS), X-ray/UV (Swift), and Gamma-ray energies (Fermi). Time-dependent SED modeling of select sources including 3C 454.3 and 1510-089 will be discussed.
