Fermi ToO 050607-1-1

A ToO observation to observe SUN at RA, Dec = 49.3000, 18.2000 (J2000) was approved at 2013-05-13 19:43:27 UTC.

The justification for the ToO is: The Max Millennium team has issued a 'Great Flare Watch' for a solar active region now appearing on the east limb. This is the criterion for a Fermi Solar Rocking TOO specified in the Cycle 5 proposal by Share et al. \"Region Likely To Produce Great Flares\" Two X-class flares have been released by the new region in succession, ~14 hours apart (13-May-2013 at 02:16:00 and 16:05:00). The second flare was of a higher magnitude than the first (X1.7 followed by X2.8).

The planned duration is 250.00 ks.

The autonomous request threshold during this ToO is LOW.

The ToO observation should begin between 2013-05-13 19:43:27 UTC and 2013-05-20 19:43:27 UTC.

The ToO observation was requested by DR. JON ERIC GROVE.
