LAT Exposure
On this page, the latest statistics on the LAT sky exposure will be presented.
Since Fermi will be in a survey mode most of the time, LAT exposure is accumulated in a complex pattern. However,when intergrating over longer timescales, the exposure grows steadily with time. In the calculation of the exposure, the dependence of the sensitivity on inclination, azimuth, and zenith angle and the shadowing effect of Earth, Sun and Moon and possibly also the larger planets have to be taken into account.
