The 2009 Fermi Symposium

GRB: Open Questions and Looking Forward

Ehud Nakar

Abstract:

Decades of observations and theoretical work have improved our understanding of gamma-ray bursts. Nevertheless, most of the main processes that take place during these explosions are still not well understood. I will discuss some of the main open questions in the field, and highlight potential future contribution of Fermi to answer them.
