Gamma Ray Bursts 2010 Conference
Nov 1-4, 2010, Annapolis, MD

Historic Inns of Annapolis Gamma ray bursts are the most luminous explosions in the universe and thought to be the birth signatures of black hole. This is an exciting time in the GRB field with new data coming from the Fermi and MAXI missions, dedicated GRB chasing by Swift and continued observations by AGILE, INTEGRAL, Konus and Suzaku. There is also growing capability for follow-up observations by telescopes of all size classes. Searches are recently underway for TeV emission, neutrinos and gravitational waves. There is a huge theoretical effort to understand the GRB phenomenon and keep up with the constant new puzzles coming from the data.

We will hold a four day conference November 1-4, 2010 in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland to discuss progress in GRB astronomy. The site will be the comfortable and interesting Historic Inns of Annapolis which is located near the State capital buildings and near the waterfront.

There is a Fermi-Swift GRB data analysis workshop being held at GSFC the week after the conference (Nov 8-12), which may be of interest to conference participants. Please see the workshop webpage for details.
