Abstract:

Cygnus X-3 showed a radio quenching state in 2011 March. X-ray spectrum changed from that of the soft state (a disk black body + power-law) to pure disk black body. This spectral change resembles that of a black hole. MAXI monitored the whole episode of the quenching state including the state changes when LAT GeV gamma-ray was emitted. RXTE and Swift spectrum in the quenching state were fit basically with a disk black body model in 1-20 keV. The iron line became very weak. The 4.8 hour modulation still remained in the quenching state.
