Abstract:

The Fermi GBM and Konus-Wind instruments have large fields of view, similar broad energy range coverage, and have been operating for a number of years. This has allowed them to observe a large number of GRBs in common, of which they can determine the spectral shape, including curvature around EPeak. We use the joint GRB sample of GBM and Wind to determine if the instruments are observing the same spectral parameters, obtaining similar fit values, or if there is a systematic difference between the two. We use lightcurve matching to select the same time period in GBM and Konus, accounting for the light travel time between spacecraft, and we perform our fits over the same energy range. We find that fixing our spectral parameters to those reported by Konus give similar fluence values.
