Dark matter through gamma-ray cross-correlations with gravitational tracers

Shunsaku Horiuchi

Abstract:

The unresolved gamma-ray background contains a wealth of information at the frontiers of multiple topics in gamma-ray physics, from the faint end of astrophysical gamma-ray emitters to searches for signatures of particle dark matter annihilation. Cross-correlation of the gamma-ray data with gravitational tracers is a powerful way to extract this information in a unique and robust way. In this talk, I will review the exciting progress made in the past few years, and discuss the major developments expected in the future.
