Abstract:
Fermipy is a widely-used high-level wrapper around the Fermi Science Tools. It is a Python package that simplifies the analysis of Fermi-LAT data and provides new functionalities for performing advanced analyses. It has been used in several scientific publications both from within and from outside of the Fermi-LAT Collaboration. Fermipy is continuously maintained and developed through a GitHub repository (https://github.com/fermiPy/fermipy). I will provide a tutorial of Fermipy using Jupyter notebooks available in the Github repository. I will show the main features of this software and the main novelties that have been recently included.
