About the FSSC

The Fermi Science Support Center (FSSC) serves as the primary interface between the Fermi mission and the scientific community. The FSSC is responsible for creating the observation schedule, maintaining the mission's data archive, providing analysis software and documentation, administering the Fermi Guest Investigator Program on behalf of NASA Headquarters, and offering support to users in all these areas. The FSSC operates as part of the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC), which is part of the Astrophysics Science Division at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
