Normal LAT Data Processing Fully Restored and Backlog Cleared

LAT data processing and deliveries have been fully restored following the successful migration of the Level 1 pipeline to the S3DF facility at SLAC. The backlog of data collected during the processing pause has been cleared, and normal ground operations have resumed. All LAT data and products are now up to date on the public server. Update on Pause in LAT Data Deliveries During Pipeline Migration

LAT data processing has successfully restarted on the S3DF facility at SLAC. Data deliveries are resuming, and the full restoration of LAT data and public product updates is expected next week. Data collected by LAT since March 16 will appear in the public server gradually as they complete ground processing and transfer. We will provide an additional update when the backlog of collected data has cleared, and normal ground operations have been fully restored.

Announcing Pause in LAT Data Deliveries During Pipeline Migration

LAT data processing has been paused to complete final tasks for the migration of the Level 1 pipeline to the S3DF facility at SLAC. This is expected to take at least 2-3 days and may take longer if we encounter anything unexpected. The LAT continues to collect science data on orbit; those data will be available after the migration completes and the ground processing has time to catch up. We will provide updates on the progress and expectations for LAT data availability at https://fermi.gsfc.nasa.gov/.
