Announcing Pause in LAT Data Deliveries During Pipeline Migration
LAT data processing has been paused to complete final tasks for the migration of the Level 1 pipeline to the S3DF facility at SLAC. This is expected to take at least 2-3 days and may take longer if we encounter anything unexpected. The LAT continues to collect science data on orbit; those data will be available after the migration completes and the ground processing has time to catch up. We will provide updates on the progress and expectations for LAT data availability at https://fermi.gsfc.nasa.gov/.

Announcing the Release of the Fermi-LAT 16-year Source List
The Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) has released an early version of the source list (FL16Y) developed for the upcoming 5FGL catalog of LAT sources. The FL16Y list is based on 16 years of survey data covering gamma-ray energies from 50 MeV to 1 TeV. The list, along with supporting documentation and data products, is available on this web page. Compared to the original 4FGL catalog, this new list uses twice as much data. As a result, the precision of source locations has improved by 24% on average.
