A ToO observation to observe 3C 454.3 at RA, Dec = 343.4910, 26.1480 (J2000) was approved at 2010-04-05 16:19:15 UTC.

The justification for the ToO is: 3C 454.3 is flaring brightly in high energy gamma-rays and continues to show a rapidly increasing flux. Pointed mode observations will provide a higher temporal density coverage enabling a search for rapid flux variations in the gamma-ray band.

The planned duration is 200.00 ks.
