Fermi ToO 070604-1-1

A ToO observation to observe 3C279 at RA, Dec = 189.0465, -15.7893 (J2000) was approved at 2015-06-15 16:31:11 UTC.

The justification for the ToO is: Blazar 3C279 yesterday flared to its highest daily level since the launch of Fermi. A previous TOO on 3C279 at a lower level of flaring produced useful data on the time scale of flaring activity; therefore this one has the potential to do the same.

The planned duration is 300.00 ks.

The autonomous request threshold during this ToO is LOW.

The ToO observation should begin between 2015-06-15 16:31:11 UTC and 2015-06-22 16:31:11 UTC.

The ToO observation was requested by DR. DAVID J THOMPSON.

The ToO commanding order was sent to the MOC at 2015-06-15 16:35:14 UTC.

The MOC sent the ToO execution notification at 2015-06-15 17:33:14 UTC.

The ToO order status is Uplinked at or before: 2015-06-15 17:31:39 UT
