Fermi ToO 170005-1-1

A ToO observation to observe N LUP 2025 at RA, Dec = 222, -50 (J2000) was approved at 2025-06-18 17:30:00 UTC.

The justification for the ToO is: A bright (optical) classical nova was discovered in Lupus on June 12. This class of source typically has high gamma-ray emission and a ToO will substantially increase LAT exposure of the source.

The planned duration is 609.54 ks in observation numbers 170005-1-1, 170005-1-2, 170005-1-3, 170005-1-4.

The autonomous request threshold during this ToO is OFF.

The ToO observation should begin between 2025-06-19 06:25:00 UTC and 2025-07-02 04:16:00 UTC.
