Mission Support Centers
The Fermi mission is supported by three major science centers:
- Fermi Science Support Center (FSSC) Located at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the FSSC provides user support, data access, proposal information, and tools for Guest Investigators.
- Large Area Telescope (LAT) Collaboration Based at SLAC in Palo Alto, CA, the LAT team maintains LAT instrument operations and data analysis software.
- Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) Team Operated from NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center and MPE in Germany, the GBM team manages GRB detections, alerts, and analysis.
